Thomas Bibb is a Computing Science Graduate (Bsc Hons), DJ, experienced Lighting & Sound engineer and young entrepreneur.  Thomas decided after six form he would continue his education and go to university.  Thomas naturally chosen a course, which reflects his natural flare for computing.  Fast forwarding four years on Thomas has studied over 5 programming languages (Java, C, C++, C#, VB and PHP to name a few), enrolled on over 20 university modules teaching; legislation, business ethics, modern web technologies, software development life cycles, enterprise applications, distributed computing platforms and corporate routing and switching just to name a few.

During the third year of Thomas’s degree, he was tasked with finding a placement to gain experience in the computing industry.  Thomas found a placement at Premier Software Solutions, in Staffordshire where he designed and developed various web applications, corporate LAN/WAN networks, Web/Email hosting platforms and VoIP telephony solutions.

Thomas believes his natural ability to engage and learn various computing topics has given him solid grounds to enter the computing industry, starting Oxide Technologies Ltd.

So why the wild card of DJ’ing well, Thomas has always liked house music and appears to have a natural ability to select and mix tracks flawlessly.  Thomas owns two CDJ1000′s and a DJM800, on the odd occasion Thomas will record a 30-60 mix and make it available on the Internet.  Further to this Thomas played has ran his own nights at various venues around the west midlands

Thomas from a young age has always been involved in ‘technical’ roles in any background; he partially found theatre lighting and sound interesting.  During his time at high school Thomas organized and designed basic lighting and sound designs for various shows.  As time went on Thomas gained a wealth of self-taught knowledge on various pieces of equipment.  Further more the school offered him a budget to hire equipment from a local company (Stage Electrics), he was to design and select equipment based on various requirements for the school shows.  Thomas went on to do this for many years during his high school years, he however finally left school in 2004, and was then employed casually by his high school to continue the services he had offered while he was a pupil.  After high school Thomas continued his studies at Walsall Academy where he was fully engaged in the ‘technical’ side of the school theatre once again.  Once Thomas left Walsall academy Thomas contacted various theatres in the area and was employed on a casual basis to rig, operate lighting equipment.  The various venues include; The Lichfield Garrick Theatre, The Snow Dome, Grand Theatre Wolverhampton and the NIA.

Thomas is the director of both; Bibb Holdings Ltd and Oxide technologies Ltd.  Bibb Holdings Ltd redevelop, let, maintain, and sell residential properties.  Oxide Technologies Ltd designs, develop, and maintain; IP telephony, IP data networks, IP CCTV, remote working (VPN), Wireless IP Networks, Windows, Linux, Mac Networks and SMB (Small Medium Business) Web/Desktop applications.

All thomas’s ventures believe and revolve around set principles;

Thomas has worked in many fields; Entertainment, Retail, Health care, and Computer Software (Desktop and Web).
